What is a Cot?

What is a Cot?

To put it simply, a cot is a cat, but that's not all there is to it.

The History of Cots

A question that many of you may wonder is how did cots come to be? You hear the word used so frequently, but what is a cot, and how did a cot become a cot? How did cots that became cots become cots? How did cots that were not yet became cots become cots once they have became cots or were going to become cots? Well, let's find out!

The cot revolution was initially started by Azhy and Cut Of Meat, who many of you now know as Joseff or Joseph. At the time, in AYS, there was only the bus gang. This mainly consisted of AYS management members and was really just changing your profile picture to a bus and then roleplaying as one. From there, the staff team began to realize that busses were starting to take over. Regular staff members even begun to change their profile photos to busses. Bus Sexual Education classes started, stories about fictional busses were created, and the bus lore just keep growing. From there, the need for another "gang" to overtake the busses was discovered.

I believe Azhy was the first to change his profile picture to a cot, followed by Met. Funnily enough, I don't believe the photo that Azhy changed his profile picture to is even the same cot we know and love today, but it is what got everything started. Once met changed his profile picture to a cot, the "Cot Gang" was sort of formed. They began harassing the busses and attempting to takeover, but at that time there were still far more busses than cots.

Over time, more and more people began changing their pictures to cots, and subsequently joining the "Cot Gang". There were several cot servers created, including Met Land, likely the most prominent. Met Land was created as a place for all of the cots to unite and play. It even had several custom bots at one point, such as a Slep Request bot and a MetCoin bot. After Met Land began to flourish, a Cot Training school server was created, and even a cot dictionary. Today, there are cots all around, and the cot language is still just as prominent as it was years back. We have definitely overtaken the busses.
